Automatic watch stopped after not wearing it several months?

Hello, I have a Fossil Arkitect watch FS4157 (as far as I know is automatic) that I haven't worn for a few months. Now it won't start, even if I swinged it (quite a lot). Is there a cure(except going to Fossil Dealers or a repair shop)?
