Adding just a muffler or exhaust tip to a car is ricer?

Alright, i just got a 2001 Honda Civic LX, and I'm kinda getting tired of hearing my RC sounding car, so i was wondering, would it be ricer to just put a muffler or exhaust tip on my car? it's automatic too, just to add too it.
